Bring Your Music Into the Digital Era

Xitel INport Deluxe

While the digital revolution is in full swing, with everyone wanting all of their media in digital form to be transferred to any number of fancy devices for more convenient consumption, not everyone has completely updated their music collection. Yes, I know there’s nothing quite like dropping a needle down on vinyl, but the fact of the matter is that you can’t bring a record player with you on the subway. Well, you can, but you won’t be able to listen to it.

It’s time to bit the bullet and transfer the tunes from all your records, tapes, and CDs to digital form. You don’t need to toss the originals, but having backup copies for you to do with what you please is more than convenient. The best way to attack this process? Xitel INport Deluxe. It’s a hardware and software combination that makes transferring music from any of your old players to your computer a snap. It even helps you make vinyl or cassette to CD transfers, just in case you’re not quite ready to forfeit physical media completely.

And if you’re planning on getting a new one anyways, why not kill two birds with one stone and get one designed especially for digitizing your old records to the best quality possible? […]

I have a collection of vinal records from 33’s to 45’s that I have been collecting since I was a child. To me, some are priceless and unreplacable. I never transfered them to digital mainly because I never saw the right opportunity. With a product like this I guess I can stop procrastinating and get the job done before something happens to my collection and start enjoying what I once spent hours listening to years ago.
